Leopard Groovy: A Bold, Playful Display Font for Fun Brand Identities
Testing Leopard Groovy Across Real Branding Assets
- Logo Concept: I used it as the primary logotype for the ice cream shop. It stood out beautifully on both light and dark backgrounds, especially when paired with a clean sans-serif for the tagline.
- Brand Board: On the brand board mockup, Leopard Groovy added visual energy. It contrasted well with more subdued textures and photography, making headlines pop.
- Packaging Mockup: Applied to a label mockup for the shop’s limited-edition pints, the font looked lively and appetizing. It gave the product a boutique feel that stood out on a crowded shelf.
- Business Card: At a small size, Leopard Groovy held up surprisingly well. It wasn’t ideal for body text, but as a name or title font, it added a punch of personality.
- Website Header & Social Media: Used in a hero section and Instagram post template, the font gave the brand a youthful, modern edge. It worked best when layered over bright backgrounds or paired with clean icons.
